According to Amber Traini, the City of Turlock Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities Events Assistant “In May 2017 Mayor Gary Soiseth kicked off the 1000 flags initiative by challenging all City residents to becoming a ‘City of 1000 flags’. The goal is to have at least 1000 Turlock residents not only proudly flying their flag but to register that flag on the City’s website BY Veterans Day” on November 11th, 2017. Let’s show our veterans how much we appreciate them by flying the red, white and blue in Turlock and all over the valley this Veterans Day!
